1. He was born on April 21st 1963 in Amos in the Abitibi region of Quebec, Canada but spent the early part of his childhood in Kapuskasing, Ontario before the family moved to Montreal.

2. Roy has a sister, Roxanne and a brother Rodrick,and the women in Roy’s family have greatly influenced him - his grandmother Liane, his great-aunt Mimi, his mother Ryna .

3. He first studied Physic ,but after seeing the film Molière decided to change his career. He graduated in 1986 and he start working in films in 1988.

4. Amongst his first films are such French-Canadian hits as Comment faire l'amour avec un noir sans se fatiguer (How to make love with a Negro without getting tired), Jesus of Montreal and Exit 234, the latter of these gaining an award at Montreal's Festival International du Nouveau Cinéma.

5. In the US, before La Femme Nikita, he was probably best known for his portrayal of Oliva Dionne, the father of the Dionne quintuplets, in Million Dollar Babies.

6. In 1999, whilst still starring in La Femme Nikita, Roy played Maurice in the Robert Guy Scully production "Maurice Richard: The Story of a Canadien", a drama documentary on the life of the celebrated hockey star.

7. Roy was educated by nuns, and as an adolescent shut himself away in the library to read the Bible, as he was fascinated by the story of Christ. He is no longer a believer.

8. Roy always thought he would die at the age of 33. <Happy day, 21^st April 1997!>

9. He tends to put on weight during filming because of eating the wrong type of food at irregular hours.

10. In the theatre, before a show he used to catch himself whistling a tune. But he realized that when he was whistling he was less focused. Now, when he finds himself about to whistle, he sings instead.

1.   Michael Samuelle is Section One's top cold operative and team leader.  He trained Nikita when she was first recruited.

2.      He is incredibly competent at all aspects of his job- profiling ,martial arts, marksmanship,strategy,and leadership.

3.       Michael was brought into Section One because of the rebellious acts he participated in as a student in Paris (Half Life).

4.    He has trained hundreds of recruits,also he trained Nikita when she was first recruited.

5.        Michael has a sister (Half Life).  He was married at least twice that we know of: once to fellow operative Simone,and once (simultaneously?) to Elena, although his marriage to Elena was for purposes of a covert mission rather than love.He also has a child Adam.
